Higham Roofing & Construction completed extensive refurbishment works at the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Offices in Basingstoke. The project involved a full strip-up of the existing waterproofing system back to the original deck, followed by the installation of a complete Bauder flat roofing system with a 20-year guarantee.
Key upgrades included the replacement of 26 sun tube domes, the supply and installation of a new perimeter handrail system, and the integration of emergency walkway lighting. Throughout the project, all M&E services and solar panels were carefully disconnected, removed, and securely stored—then expertly reinstated following roof completion.
As part of the final stages, the lightning protection system was reconnected, tested, and certified, ensuring full compliance and safety for the future use of the building.
